Dear Diary,
We are so close to our $10,000 goal for the Susan G Komen for the Cure. I can’t tell you how many amazing and moving letters I have received from people either fighting breast cancer right now, lost someone close to them or helping someone through the fight. It is a hard place to be in. I have seen too many people go through this which is why I love having these opportunities to raise money for such a great cause. We only need $2600 and we will be there.
We have been having some issues with the website, I hoping it doesn’t get too confusing. I want to make donating as simple as possible. I have been sticking to my half marathon training. I am only a little worried I have bitten off more than I can chew. Today is a cross-training day and I think I am going to do my P90X yoga DVD. It is 90 minutes and I think the stretching will be good for me.
My friend, Mellie, texted me yesterday. She is having some issues with her Halloween costume. I told her not to worry, I have a box full of costumes. I have an entire Laura Crift outfit that would be great for her and I have everything from the braided wig to the hip holsters for the guns. I am so glad she is coming out.
It will be an exciting couple of weeks. Shannon and Danny come out in less than 2 weeks and then Mellie after that. So much to do, so little time.
